As a distributor for medmix, we offer MIXPAC™ mixers, also known as static mixing nozzles or static mixers. Mixing nozzles for two component materials such as industrial adhesives and sealants are available in various designs, diameters and lengths to meet the requirements of specific applications. MIXPAC mixers are compatible with MIXPAC cartridge systems and other cartridge dispensing technologies, and metering and mixing dispensing equipment.
There are two mixing technologies:
1) Helix or helical mixers with a round or cylindrical cross section are the traditional technology
2) QUADRO™ mixers with a square cross section feature MIXPAC’s proprietary design, which gives effective mixing in a smaller space, allowing for shorter nozzles and a lower pressure drop. This results in less wasted material left in the nozzle, and allows the user to get closer to the substrate being dispensed on
MIXPAC cartridge based dispensing technology is divided up into various “systems”, and the mixers will be system specific. For more information and the full range of mixers within each system, please click on the system name:

QUADRO Mixers
The QUADRO mixer is a patented, innovative mixer design that has set a standard in the industry. The unique QUADRO mixer geometry allows the assembly of the mixer in a very compact and short way. In each mixing element, the number of formed layers is doubled. This specific geometry, in combination with the square shape, results in virtually ideal layer forming. As a result, the QUADRO mixer achieves an outstanding mixing performance, is extremely short and has a very low pressure drop in comparison to other mixer designs. Less material waste, and easier to use.
These mixers were formerly sold under the “Sulzer Mixpac” brand name.
